Get a Medical Marijuana license if possible; start CBD/THC therapy right away. I've been researching this since my lung cancer diagnosis. Take a look on Google, keep looking, keep reading. It's worth a try, isn't it? I wish you well.

I know you had clear cell carcinoma but did they test for mutations? I’ve a fellow advocate whose clear cell lung cancer had an EGFR mutation and she’s been given tarceva which is keeping her lung and brain lesions in check.

Hi ,You are not alone I think this something that happens in lung cancer ,I have had Stereotactic radiotherapy2017 and eventually this shrunk down a bit ,now I have 2 more lesions latest results on Thursday , I am currently having cycles of chemo and immunotherapy as I also have a cardiac met which is responding to treatment but I am not sure the brain mets are but I will keep an open mind until Thursday .Hopefully your current treatment will help you good luck .Diane

I’m sorry to hear about your brain Mets, I’m getting 5 days of radiation for the 2 Mets the size of 0.4 mm both in front line, also I’m on round 2 of taxol chemo out of 3 rounds to kill the cancer they found on a small lymph node in my chest, I hope chemo will prevent any further Mets in the brain

Most (many) chemotherapy agents cannot cross the blood-brain barrier, so while your treatment might keep your cancer stable everywhere else, lung cancer does tend to spread to the brain. Be sure you continue receiving frequent enough MRIs to use SRS targeted radiation rather than lesions becoming so large to require craniotomy surgery.

I’m so sorry you are going through this. I often find myself feeling that I can handle “just” the lung cancer, but the added bonuses like this are what drag me down.

Taxol is the pits. Round 2 out of 4 tomorrow and I hate it they are killing a small involved lymph node righ lung area where I had the lobectomy in 2017 other then that cancer free and they are zapping 2 0.3 mm Mets very tiny
