Hi everyone ! I suffer from uncontrolled EOS ASTHMA. All these years in my life I was blown off by my PCP I finally took it upon myself to see Pulmonologist- she did labs and my eosinophils are double the normal high amount.
Struggling with treatment and sucky insurance to cover meds I need.

This is interesting thanks. Am in a similar situation, I get told that the count is high because of the asthma where I think it is the other way around. I also go to a site where I pray for others and post so that people pray for me, it costs nothing and does not take up much time. http//accuratepsychicreadingsonli.... Sometimes we need uplifting emotionally and mentally as well as help physically. It now seems that I have vasculitis and am struggling with that too, waiting to speak to a specialist and of course it is all held up with this lockdown situation. When I was struggling to breath and was referred to a chest person it took them eight months to follow up the letter. Hopefully this won't take so long.
Although I have Severe Persistent Allergic Asthma (see my reply to Magpieflies above), there is a common thread - expensive meds and a long time to adequate diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately, a Step System of trial and error meds is necessary and what is required by insurance commpanies. However, your ability to advocate for yourself is what makes a huge difference in the ultimate success of your treatment. Finding a Pulmonologist who will work with you to find your best treatment plan is crucial.
