Plss help
Hi Rryche , from what you have said it sounds like you have some kind of urinary tract infection . Hopefully the antibiotics you are taking will cure it soon .
The symptoms you describe are not HIV symptoms , so no need to worrying about that .
Hi my dear thank you for replying with me I still worried how I wish I can go to test for hiv but the prob in my work...that why I do Pap smear..to Check but they saw I have infection...cos have new partner and he don’t use protection after my period Starting my discharge..I’m so worried...
HIV infection does not cause a genital discharge . If you have a sexually transmitted infection it is far more likely that you have gonorrhoea , which does cause a pussy discharge .
My dear griffon thank you I really appreciate, that what I want to know if discharge will be symptom of hiv..because I can’t ask directly to the doctor about hiv...
No , a recently acquired HIV infection does not cause a discharge . However gonorrhoea does .
Griffin u are so helpful. I have a question . I have always suffered from a very itchy and uncomfortable vagaina even during pregnancy back in 2017. Tested negative. Now las yr sep i had unprotected sex and again my vagina is very very itchy and smelly do u think it is hiv...i have had the common cold for like 4days like week and a flat rash on my arma and thighs that pops up and disappears in like 2 days im so scared. Pls help me somebody.
HimStacey , I really am clueless about vaginas ! But common sense tells me that you have either an STI or a thrush type infection . The least likely cause is HIV , and as far as I know HIV does not cause the symptoms you have . In fact very often HIV causes no symptoms at all until the disease is well advanced after several years and the sufferer starts to get unexplained illness . If you have had a pregnancy I expect you will have had an HIV test then . First obvious step is to try an over the counter remedy for thrush and see if that helps . If this does not improve things the next step is a clinic appointment for a swab .
