Latino in Atlanta diagnosed in feb/2017. What an overwhelming experience just trying to get on medication. Would love to talk to people in my area in hopes of learning from your experience and to stop feeling like I'm the only one going trough this. Thanks!

Hi there!

Be strong, be patient and relax. We all at first think it's the end of the world, that we have been sentence to death, but is not like that. With time you'll understand it's just a virus and that if you follow your doctors instructions and adhere to your medication you will be fine and healthy.

Try to get in contact with the department of health if your state, they can help you get your medication and even can pay you a private insurance if you qualify for it.

Here in NY they pay mine. I don't pay nothing but a copay if I have to go see a docto other than my doctor and that's only the case if he reffer me to one.

You can count on me to talk and vent. Ask any question and if I can help you I will.

Edgar, from NY

Hello my friend. Don't be afraid of this thing. I understand how you feel, may be just like I felt 17 years ago. I'm living in Chattanooga, not so far from Atl. I hope we can be in touch and count on me wherever you need.
