Hi. I have been having medically unexplained symptoms constantly for almost 4 years now with every test possible other than a test for Lyme. I just wanted to know if a test run by my GP will be accurate since the symptoms are ongoing and it was 4 years since the bite. I finally managed to get a doctor to sympathise with my symptoms and agreed to test me .. what are peoples experiences on getting a diagnosis as I dont want to have to pay loads of money on testing. Thank you

It is important what lab you use for testing. Igenex is a lab in California that specializes in testing for tick-borne illnesses. It is worth spending the money to use this lab to get accurate results. (I see that you posted a while ago, so I hope you have gotten some answers and are doing better.)
