Hi Lisababs, I see that you are in Canada so I don't know what your lockdown restrictions are over there. Over here in the UK folks who live on their own are allowed to form what has been dubbed 'social bubbles' with one other household and are allowed to meet one other person outdoors for exercise. Even those who were put into our 'shielded' category are allowed out and about for essential purposes.

You need to fully explore what you are and arn't allowed to do and who/how many folks you are allowed to meet. Do you have a pre covid circle of friends? or family? You need to keep in touch with them if you can even via the telephone or online chat.

Getting outside for some exercise is great for your wellbeing even a 20 minute walk a day in the open air will lift your mood though I don't know how practical this is where you are.

Hubby and I haven't left our village in months - our area of Scotland has been under the strictest level of restrictions since October/November (apart from trips to our local town to pick up meds & we haven't been able to visit family since October as they live in another local authority area). We keep ourselves busy doing crafts and projects and keep in touch with family via telephone (I don't like video calls). We have a daily one mile walk (minimum) even going out after dark if the day time has been rubbish weather.

We all just need to keep on keeping on until all the restrictions are lifted and we can regain some sort of normality.

Katie
