Lipodeama problem

I am new here and hope someone will be able to give me some advice. I have just been told I have lipodeama and can not eat certain foods can someone please tell me what some of those certain foods are.

Ther aren’t any foods that you cannot eat with lymphedema. A balanced diet with plenty for fresh foods is best for everyone. There are some people who have had improvement in there LE after going on a Keto style diet but it is a very; specialized way of eating and you would have to research it to learn about it if you were interested in doing it.

Please try swimming as I have found it helps me a lot. Also ask your Gp to refer you to a dietitian for help xxx

It would be the RAD diet Rare adipose disorder - go to Talk lipoedema and they have it - bit strange and I do probably 90% of it but can't give up my shreddies in the morning

Hi Have not been diagnosed long . My Gp refereed me to the Lynhedema clinic as they help with lipidema patients as well. I have been seen by them and am now awaiting my compression garments. Can I also advise if you can swim please go to the pool as I have found it really helps I know people get embarrassed wearing a swim suit so I wear the swim dresses the long length ones which more or less hides my legs. They are a bit expensive but worth every penny. I get mine from Marisota and as I have already stated go for the long lenght
