Hi what do you use to stop your inner thighs from chaffing and getting sore when you wear a skirt. I can't wear tights as I am allergic to them and especially in the hot weather I get rashes

Hope that you can help

Good morning. I like you can't wear a skirt or a dress because I legs would be so sore. I have tried everything from cream to deodorant even that gel that's is supposed to help. So now I just wear trouser.

you can buy shorts or long legged panties from several places , they may look like granny knickers but they work . Look in catalogues online for some pretty airtex in pale colours. If your thighs are very large Big bloomer company does well designed undies but can be a little expensive. Try to buy knee length and take the elastic out and maybe trim with pretty lace . good luck :)

Perhaps you can find a garment like bike shorts or spanx in a fabric that you can tolerate?

Hi Loramay, I had this problem but I discovered a brilliant website called Big Bloomers (as I've just seen the lady below has found) and I brought a pair of their anti-chaffing shorts. Brilliant, I can now wear dresses and skirts in comfort. I have lipodema so I used to wear trousers/crops but its much cooler in dresses. Hope this helps x

Check anti chafing products for cyclists and triathletes. There is something called "Body glide her", that comes in different formats, one of them a small handbag size bar, very discreet, it looks like one of those antiperspirant bars.
