ET and Hydroxycarbamide side effects

Hello. I have ET and have been taking hydroxy since October 2019. Initially I got a lot of mouth ulcers but they’ve gone now. However I’ve been having a lot of stomach problems - very frequent diarrhoea- and it’s getting me down. I’ve had stool analyses and all ok. I’ve had IBS for a number of years but this is worse. Any information on this?

Hi, the diarrhoea must really be getting you down, I am sorry I can not help.Can anyone in your medical team help at all?

Is it also made worse because you have IBS?

Perhaps the more you worry does not help as well.

The main thing is that you take care and stay safe.
