Hi Stef, Welcome to the group I hope we can help.
Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN), (NK) cell leukemia/lymphoma is a rare form of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) , hard to diagnose, and there is little data available about the disease, in 2016 there were only 200 cases reported in world literature, treatment may vary depending on the age/fitness of a patient, country of residence and if this is a first or second treatment.
i have dropped a note to one of our medical advisers to help with feedback for you. Do you have a name of the oral chemotherapy?
In the meantime I am sure volunteers will drop in many here live with leukaemias and AML types after treatment.
If in the UK you could also call one of our nurse advisers at leukaemiacare.org.uk/suppor...
if in the US the Leukaemia & Lymphoma society are involved in research and provide patient information lls.org/leukemia/blastic-pl...

Thank you very much for your kind reply and help. My dad is elderly, he is now taking oral chemo, namely, cychlophosphamide 50 mg daily and then alternating with etoposide 50 mg daily, he also takes prednol. His chemo cycle is for three weeks and then one week no meds..we are in our second cycle...I really would be grateful to have your thoughts and suggestions
