Hi does anyone get sore swollen black knuckles? In remission at the minute but last count 2 months ago had dropped from 189 to 157.

You are the first that I have heard of with this symptom. People were telling me I needed to wash better and did not believe that this was a symptom. While my counts were significantly lower than yours, I did experience a time last year (just month after first being dyignosed with ITP) for only a couple of months darked knuckles but it eventually went away and have not had since. I would not worry as it really did not cause much of an issue.

When my count is low I find all my joints ache - even my knuckles. It feels a bit like you have been run over by a car!!

Thanks for the posts. Going to Dr next week to get bloods done. Think it might be rheumatoid arthritis as only in ring finger of each hand. Bruising gone over a week ago but knuckle joints still really tender.
