HIV virus takes 2months to several years to get detectable in tests....
It depends upon persons immunity
So if u ever had unprotected sex then keep testing for every 2 months for 2 years atleast

It does not take years for you to show up positive on a test!
Where did you get your info???
4 to 6 weeks should show up 95% of the population. . Rarely it takea up to 3 months but after that if you haven't test positive by three months you dont have it.. stop giving ppl wrong advice.
Get it checked once again.....
