What is your blood type?: - Hughes Syndrome A...
What is your blood type?

It would be interesting to know Rhesus positive or negative too. 33% AB blood group seems quite high.
Is there any correlation between blood type and/or rhesus factor and how likely you are of having Hughes Syndrome/APS?
Hi
I posted a poll request to see how many of us are Rhesus negative, and it is, at the last count about 3 -4 times higher than the general population !! I feel it is worthy of further investigation.
Regards Carol
I am rhesus negative, 0 group. I was told that only 7% of the population are negative??? I do wonder if it linked in ANY way with APS?
I didn't answer this as it didn't give a choice between the positive and negative blood groups, so I can't really see the point.
How can this poll help if it doesn't give anyone the option of stating if they are positive or negative?......If I tick the 'O' option, how is anyone going to know if I am positive or negative in that group?
I agree the +/- factor has to be there as well I am AB Pos.
I totally agree with the last few comments...I am B negative.

A Rhesus Negative for me.

I am A Rhesus Positive. I think the results would have been very interesting had the poll asked for +/- . In its current form it really is a pointless poll.
I am not sure if my poll is still open, but I was just interested in the percentage of Rhesus negative APS sufferers, as it is higher in those with APS than the general population. I definitely think there is a link for any one out there that wants to explore it further!
