I found this site after a confirmed diagnosis of APS, I Googled it and reached a Brittish site. That site actually led me to the Hughes Foundation site. They are two separate and distinct diseases in the Sates. APS being the lesser of the two with similar symtoms.

I was a member of the old APLSUK site

debi in Fl w APS

I was part of another healthunlocked community

I have not joined any social network sites, and I always worry about the internet for medical stuff in case I get bad advice. I've never really taken to forums either (perhaps I'm technological anti social)

Although I was diagnosed about 4 years ago, the doctor said it wasn't important unless I got pregnant and I should ignore it. Recently, I started to wonder if my usual bad dyslexic days might actually be caused by sticky blood in my head. I Googled a few things and this site kept coming up.

I've learned a lot by reading others stories, and feel calmer and more in control than I have in years.

Thanks so much!
