For me, it has no rhyme or reason. The fatigue comes and goes. Of course when i do too much its worse

In the afternoon it often feels like I have huge weights on my forearms, thighs, and the base of by neck in the back. Standing is just so hard.

In the afternoon I suddenly feel exhausted and feel I need to lie down and cannot so anymore work. After resting for a while I will get a second wind. So resting little and often helps.

For me it is the afternoon and evening but unfortunately the poll hasn't been set up to allow multiple answers so I clicked evening.

Sometimes it's all day and night. Other times starts early evening. If I know I have to attend an evening event, I have to rest the entire night and day prior to event or I will experience severe vertigo and vomiting. No rhyme or reason, it seems.

Constant lethargy that gets worse after any activity

Most days i need a nap in the afternoon.

Awake un refreshed

It feels more like exhaustion than a normal tiredness, sometimes it is a case of lay down or fall down.

it is 8-30am I have been up 2hrs & i have tears streaming down my eyes from yawning..

My fatigue is fairly constant throughout the day and is not made any worse by light exercise. However in late evening (usually straight after dinner), I go completely downhill and have to struggle to get upstairs and get ready for bed. Once in bed I'm OK and feel very relaxed and comfortable.

I am always worse first thing in the morning, takes me nearly 2 hrs on an average day to get going and the same again late evening until I go to bed.

I struggle to get going in the morning, gradually improve during the day and am at my best in the evening. It seems lined to food i.e energy intake

Or rather ...."linked to food"

Mine is overwhelming and sudden with no clue as to what brings it on. It could happen an hour after waking from a 2 hour nap. I can only depend that it will happen, not when.

I would agree with StevePT, I struggle to get going am then mine definitely seems linked to food intake, eat lunch later than 2pm its a job to pick back up until after pm dinner, eat lunch 12.30-1pm only flagging a little by 6pm dinner.

I often wake in the morning feeling like i've not slept, but every afternoon I am exhausted and if I didnt work or have children to look after I am sure I would sleep round to the next day.

I struggle to get going in the morning always wake feeling tired, manage through till about 2pm then have to lie down for a couple of hours. If I get too tired by doing too much my headaches are even worse

I have dificulty sleeping because the side I lie on goes numb and wakes me up. On my back my belly and right leg go cold. Hence worse fatigue in the morning.

I must never overdo things or I suffer great fatigue and cramping.

Lying down for 3 hours recharges my batteries.

I get much less fatigue on my current regime but still suffer from poor sleep quality.

For me, I can have good days and bad days. Like 'toyoungtoretire' said, sometimes its an effort just to stand! On good days I make the most of it and get as much done as possible. On bad days it is an effort even to get up and make myself something to eat. :( x

i am constantly exhausted, and this in turn pulls me down, after reading this site, i can see im not alone, i was also not aware of the b12 injections, until now, the fact this as helped many sufferers regain energy, is brilliant news, i can only hope.

Until reading this, I'd always assumed my fatigue was a hang over from a bad dose of glandular fever 20 years ago. I don't want to say constant, as I need to maintain a positive attitude to function. Mornings are my best - regardless of how little I've slept. I seem to have more useful energy - as opposed to nervous energy which I often have - just before the sun comes up. Both strong sun light and florescent light cause problems, so dusk and dawn are favorites, but by dusk the days aches and pains cloud my mind. A clear starry night can often find me full of energy. If for some reason I have nothing to do (rare) I sleep. I have no recollection of ever waking up without an alarm, or being shaken - to the extent that at university and on holidays when someone realises I've been missing for over a day, they have trouble waking me (I get up desperate for the loo, surprised that doesn't wake me)

If I didn't have a fondness for garlic, vampirism might be suspected!

My fatigue is related to what I eat (sugar, white flour carbs, etc). If I overdue it physically, I get fatigued. MUCH improved by following a paleo diet with increased protein.

I also take low dose naltrexone which helped by fatigue immensely.

It varies, A struggle in the morning always wake feeling tired, manage till about 2pm then have to lie down for a couple of hours.
