I also get ringing in my ears and sometimes static noises aswell I don’t really ever feel unwell and never have done. Though I do get chest pains maybe due to my anxiety over it

There has been a few times. I’m a straight female , but heard a partner was bisexual. Which isn’t very scary for me

Iv only been with one person in 2 years so didn’t think I needed too but now I am worried but scared to know also. I would just like to know if it looks like a hiv rash or not as I thought it was scabies at first

It might be or it might not, from what I seen online if u had hiv for 2 years it would be worse, it would look more different, and you would start feeling other symptoms. I’m going tru the same hiv anxiety rn even tho I got tested 2 times and came back negative, I just got a third test yesterday now I’m just waiting on the results

Hi , That does not look like an HIV rash . There are hundreds of reasons you could have a rash and the VERY LEAST likely is HIV , so why are you worrying about this ? 😀 If this really is a problem to you just get tested and put your mind at rest .

Griffon you give good advice! I have been poz 35+ yrs. I understand people being freaked out at 1st. But it is much better nowdays. I was in the 1st. AZT trial and was a lab rat for many others. Nice to see someone sharing the right information.

Advising people to kill themselves is a very insensitive and dare I say it, stupid comment. HIV is a treatable infection and people on treatment have zero transmission risk. In addition, HIV positive women can have negative children. There is no need for anyone to be thinking of taking their own lives in this situation.

That rash looks like folliculitis. It is not the widespread, macular rash of HIV seroconversion. Only 4/12 people who are HIV positive get any signs of seroconversion. If you are concerned about an exposure 2 years ago, you are not seroconverting.

Get a test. This will deal with your anxiety. I am not sure what country you are in, but testing in the UK is free and confidential. You can even order a self test kit for home. Don't let your anxiety rule your life.

I wasn’t advising it slow one, there’s always 2 options in life when stuff goes wrong. You either live with it or you end it. This is not Disney channel so there’s no need to sugar coat that sometimes life isn’t fair and some people cannot deal with it so they end their suffering by taking their own lives. But like I said a cure is coming real soon, so in my opinion if you are taking your meds and living a healthy good life, killing yourself would be foolish, bc they might have a cure by next week and now you are 💀. But everyone is entitled to make their own decisions.

That's a very black and white attitude to have . How about getting counselling and support when you have issues, to get you through a difficult time ? Being diagnosed with HIV might seem challenging to begin with , but once people understand its a manageable condition they can get on with their lives . There is no cure for the foreseeable future but excellent medication these days .

Stop trynna tell ppl there will be no cure just excellent medication u dum a**. That’s what big pharma wants you to do. They want you to keep buying their quick fix so they can keep profiting from you until you die. If I have HIV I am not resting until a cure comes out even if that means I gotta become a lab rat. How do you mean to tell me that big pharma can reduce the virus in the blood stream but not destroy it completely after decades of research ??? Oh but they made a vacine in less than a year for corona virus 🧐🧐🧐

Ok no need for bad language. I did not say there will be no cure. I said "for the forseeable future " meaning not for several years yet. HIV and coronavirus are totally different viruses , and HIV has "latent " infection within the body, hiding in reservoirs . We have a cure now for all 4 types of hepatitis C - so if "big pharma " didn't want a cure and only treatment then we wouldn't have this. Many HIV treatments globally are now generic and some cost just £18 a month . So "big pharma" doesn't make money from them anymore.

You also don't have HIV - you tested negative.

Yes there are four strains of Hep C and all are curable using antiviral therapy.
