I don't know exactly, Briffon. but I heard that a cure try to test in Africa.

The HIV virus is complicated . Generally viruses can't be cured , antibiotics don't work on a virus . The only defence against viruses is inoculation - but that doesn't seem practacle with HIV .

I read somewhere of a theoreticle cure , but I can't now remember the science behind it .

I think we should be very thankful for the medication we now have - it has been near enough a miracle in itself .

I'm told that HIV is the most resilient virus known, it mutates more than anything else which is why it's so hard to find a cure.

If you read up on how triple combination medication works it's amazing. I was told by my consultant that a single medication would take the virus 6 weeks to form resistance, double would be 6 months and triple seems to be effective enough to be able for us to use it for decades.

There is so little of the virus left to replicate it takes it that much longer to form enough to mutate into a resistant form.

You must adhere to the regime that's the most important thing, not just for yourself but for all of us.

Meds are great!!!!
