Thank you for your support and continued interest in advocating for health viral hepatitis for our constituents to achieve optimal health outcome. The Hepatitis Foundation International (HFI) is seeking individuals with hepatitis B or hepatitis C, have been cured, or as a care taker to share their opinions and stories through a short video recording, for Hepatitis Awareness Month 2017. The overarching question to be answered is, “Can we eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030?,” which was derived from the National Academy of Sciences Phase 2 Report, A National Strategy for Elimination for Hepatitis B and C. By way of background, the Hepatitis Foundation International is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization established in 1994 working to eradicate chronic hepatitis for people in the US and globally.
HFI may choose your video and post it across our social media platforms during May in observance of Hepatitis Awareness Month to bring attention to the viral hepatitis pandemic. The short video should be one minute or less. During the video recording we ask for all participants to include your name, state, country, and address one or a combination of the following questions:
•How has your family been impacted by viral hepatitis?
•What is your story in regards to receiving hepatitis treatment?
•Can viral hepatitis be eliminated by 2030? How?
We value your participation and are eagerly anticipate your response to providing a patient story.
