Coffee May Have Protective Effects Against Liver Cirrhosis

Research on the effects of increased coffee consumption, up to two cups a day, have shown a reduced risk in liver cirrhosis in cirrhosis patients. Studies on animals and observations of humans indicated a reduced frequency of abnormal liver function test results.
