4 weeping in to treatment went for blood tests on week 2

Now week 4 just got my results I’m now hep c clear nothing detected can not belive how fast this treatment works at times I wanted to stop the treatment but am so glad I stuck to it

Thank you tho I am starting to struggle and wounder if I am able to finish this course of treatment side affects hitting me all at once can not eat and feel very sick when I do manage a few mouth full of food I feel ten times sicker am very tiered. And just want to go bed but carnt cause I got my 2 Kids and my sisters 5 and 6 year old really started treatment at the worst possible time x

Oh you poor thing, crikey what a handful! I think you're hitting the hardest point, the middle. nausea is the worst thing ever, I can't tolerate it. I use fresh ginger all the time. I put a thick slice in hot water or herbal tea. It helps for a short time. pity about extra kids, mine are grown up. but my daughter, and cat and boyfriend coming for Xmas! tried explaining but people can't see what we feel. Maybe the worst won't last long. fingers x ed 4 you. What meds you on? xx

I’m on dasabuvir ribavirin snd viekirax take 5 morning and 4 at night x

Hi hun I’m now week 7 felling much better with the tieredness but the sickness deos not seen to be shifting lost a bit of weight as just can not be bothered to eat and when I do I just pick not had a good meal since I started this crap xx

I'm so sorry to hear you are really sick.with this nut trust me all of a sudden it will pass. Your immune system is so low that you can contract any tiny germ that's around so be very careful around your cat as none intentionally but they bring allsorts in from outside . I know ive got 4 of them! You will get better this will pass I've seen my daughter go through this it's just a few weeks and you will feel on top of the world. Big hugs xxx

Or I do hope so all side affects just seem to of hit me all at once starting with head akes now I try not to really go out just to school and Home get a sleep while kids are at school

I finish my tablets on the 29th of December so am hoping all this will be gone in time for Christmas is your daughter ok now x

Hi week 7 and the tiredness as gone but this sickness is getting worse been doctors they say I have to wait till my next hospital appointment in the 30th November how stupid

Hi there. Has this treatment made you sick at all as my daughter has had this and week 3 and 4 she was so sick I rushed her to a&e? She is just waiting for her very last blood result . It's fantastic this treatment isn't it. I'm so happy for you and for everyone who gets the chance to have this treatment it's like a miracle cure. Yea I feel very sick it’s like morning sickness but lasts all day I feel sick but need to eat to take my tablets but once I do eat I feel even worse yea the treatment is very good I was offered it about 8 years ago but refused it as I had to inject my self every day and treatment was somert like 38 weeks but the type I had they said it’s the hardest to get rid of I’m glad I waited now had bloods done at 2 week and the virus was gone so yea very affective treatment

Hi girls,

It sounds odd but I hope to be feeling sick when on the treatment rather than sick without it. I am still waiting and could be for however long. Last bloods took 6 wks plus and that's at the hospital. would love to start a little home group where a few of us could be on meds at same time , I have had lots of time to think about it all !

Let's hope it s a good new year for all. just think Shell, you will have finished treatment when I start ☺you're doing so well, hang on, the end will come

Oh my, me too. I finished my treatment 3 days ago and I feel so down.

I keep thinking that I should be on top of the world finishing treatment, and during treatment I felt amazing, but I don't and I just cry all the time.

I hope we both get better soon. I was prepared for this treatment to make me feel rough whilst taking it. So when nothing bad happened I let my guard down.

How are you feeling now? I myself am feeling on top of the world. Found out yesterday that I am Hep c free! This feeling is amazing.

The whole "withdrawal" symptoms from coming off of Sovaldi and Ribiviron have gone too, bonus.

Thanks, glad you're feeling better too. It was weird how I was told the treatment ccan have quite bad side affects but didn't have any then, boom, they come at you all at once when you're not taking it.

I also have a 3 months post treatment appointment.

Here's to the future x
