It’s my own fault 😢

So last night, after weeks of anxiety and stress (due to constant ectopics, various other stressors etc) I reached for a bottle of wine. I haven’t been drinking as I’m desperate for the ectopics to stop but I just wanted so badly to relax and ‘switch off’. Two large glasses later and it had obviously gone to my head far more than usual (I’ve lost 7lbs in this last couple of weeks as can’t eat due to ectopics). I had a terrible nights sleep and the ectopics today have been worse than ever 😢 I know I need to ride the storm but the feeling is so desperate again, I feel like I’m dying and something is seriously wrong, but there’s no help 😢

Still no letter or word from the hospital with an appointment, despite being referred 3 weeks ago. It looks like it’ll be months of this, truly feel I can’t cope.

Just reaching out I suppose…a problem shared…

Health, or rather ill health off any nature, is a mixture of dehydration, toxicity and malnutrition with brain-mediated harmony (emotional/mental) at the core. If you use this triangle off ill health as a template to start research on all of the aspects, I’m sure you will find some help. Perhaps listen to some beautiful music to help calm whilst researching. Google beautiful music - lots to choose from. Happy searching 😊

Also try some deep breathing exercises to relax. I see others here who say it helps. I do a combination of deep breathing with minor stretching exercises on the floor. I can still get up and down pretty good. But you can also lay on the bed and do them. Hope you find something to help. Know you're not alone. 🙏

I’m so sorry you are experiencing this, and I so understand. Waiting myself for an appointment but I do have a date. Hoping for reassurance or even more so for relief from the near constant ectopics. The thing that helps me most is yoga. Slow and mindful, with some meditation and pranayama thrown in. It’s actually the only thing that helps me. You don’t need any special clothing or an expensive membership anywhere and you can practice in your own home, in any room, at any time. Just find the right teacher for you. I’m a doctor by background and now a yoga teacher, coach, embodiment practitioner, drawn there to find the things that help myself. There are lots of free options even on YouTube. But try slow and mindful yoga for wellness and resilience. Gentle and nourishing. 🙏🏻🌻

Thank you, it’s always good to hear from those suffering the same. Did yours come on quite suddenly? Whilst I’ve often suffered on and off, I’ve never suffered to this extent, it takes up so much of my thought every day. I’m so worried that there’s something wrong with my heart, for them to have increased so suddenly. I hope I can at least get a date to work to this week. X

Mine began in May. Initially it was just for 20 minutes at a time. I would experience episodes for several days running and then none for a while. But it gradually progressed and was lasting hours at a time and most days by September, and all day and night by October. I also went from bigeminy to runs of 3, 4, 5 beats. I found that so alarming. But I will say it’s still there but started to calm down over the last few days.

Appointment is soon and that will be a relief.
