Hi all I suffer from ectopics, 6 years now. Alongside autoimmune with having my thyroid removed and taking thyroxine forever. However, I'm terrified to get the vaccine. Read alot off ppl got worse ectopics even percaditis. Here in Victoria looks like you can't even participate in life without a vaccine and has me so stressed. 😪

It's entirely a matter for yourself, of course, but the more you inform yourself with real facts and statistics, rather than rumour and probable untruths told for mischief, the better position you are in to make a decision on whether vaccination is for you or not. Ultimately getting covid19, even with all the great strides made in understanding it and treatments which help a little, getting it is overwhelmingly more dangerous than suffering any number of extra ectopic heart beats which are uncomfortable but in no way dangerous. Very, very few people have developed pericarditis post vaccine, and almost all who have, worldwide, have recovered from this!

I strongly advise you to speak to your dr. I have multiple heart issues, SVT, IST and long qt syndrome. I jumped at getting the vaccine when I could. And it was fine. I was down for the Astrazeneca and the day before I was due to have it the rules changed for my age group so had to have Pfizer. I was happy with any I could have and would rather have the vaccine over severe covid symptoms anyday. For me I had a sore arm for two days after each dose and had headache and chills. Heart related I had a two second flutter about 10 mins after each vaccine. For me it was at the moment it felt like the vaccine had started to be absorbed into my system from my arm muscle. Other friends without heart conditions had the same feeling. My husband didn't have the feeling at all. I know people who developed Covid symptoms and six hours later passed away. For me I would say to anyone, chat to your dr. But if you are recommended to have it, do have it as we are exactly who the vaccine is for. Best wishes

I felt the same way but watched a lot of people with underlying health issues receive it and feel fine including my nephew who has muscular dystrophy and my father who has had a quadruple bypass. I get ectopics daily and have now had both shots (Pfizer). Felt completely fine just a sore arm and no more palps than usual. Good luck!

I have svt and ectopics and my mum has Afib and wpw. We both had both shots, her Pfizer and me AZ. We were both fine. No complications at all that were heart related I just had flu type symptoms for a couple of days. She had nothing. My husband had Moderna and had a few palpitations with the 2nd shot but nothing crazy. I am more scared of covid than my heart acting up, it does that on its own anyway!
