When standing the heart has to pump more to get blood to our upper body and of course as we move the heart has to pump harder again, I suspect your heart rates may be completely normal. Are you taking any pills and do you have AF? Heart rates and BP change constantly from minute to minute depending on what we are doing and the effort it takes.

Worrying about your pulse will take it higher too. I took mine while watching a tense serial last night and was horrified at the way it took my BP and pulse higher than normal when sitting. Completely natural when something stresses/worries us for these readings to rise. When sat, practice deep breathing, right into the stomach (not chest), letting the breath come out quickly through your mouth, this lowers my BP and pulse immediately.

Best wishes.

Agree with what is said, but any concerns get checked out as with everything in life. But, the way you have phrased it it sounds textbook normal body reaction to me. However, see a doctor if concern. My thing is if you have any other symptoms, that is what to focus on. For example, I have IST (inappropriate sinus tachycardia), which meant I would get a higher heart rate than others if I was sick or I became exhausted from doing things like having a shower. And when I said to people about it, they were like "oh it is normal" or I was" anxious". Wasn't until my SVT started and they both happened on my sleep that those comments stopped as it was captured. It can be hard to articulate if there is something not that right with you. But, in the world of over monitoring at home machines etc, it can be easy to confuse normal and abnormal. If you can Google normal heart rates for walking. There was a wonderful YouTube animation I saw a while ago on what happens when you walk. It basically described all you have said in it as the body doing it's job responding normally to movement etc. But, as I said, any concerns see a doctor.
