AVR and covid

I have a mechanical aortic value and was diagnosed with Covid over the weekend. Is there anything extra I should be doing to maximise my recovery? I feel like I have a very bad cold - shivers, body aches, night sweats, sore throat, bad headache, etc.

I have a mechanical valve and I caught Covid two weeks after my surgery. I don't think there's anything else you need, or can do to maximise your recovery apart from the usual paracetamol. Hope you are feeling better.

Wow - two weeks after surgery. That must have been hard! I’ve recovered well - it took longer than my partner - all up about 3 weeks. I’m glad I was triple vaccinated. Hope you are going ahead in leaps and bounds. It’s spring there meaning it’s nicer for walking. Thanks for taking the time to write. All the best and take care.

Wasn't great 😂 but at the end of the day I'm still here. Still trying to get my fitness levels up to what they were before, It's taking a bit longer than I would like but I've got the time now.Hope everything is going well for you in your recovery.
