Voted for porridge but it’s really oats, various seeds and nuts and a banana with oat milk. No heat no difficult to wash pans.

Overnight oats for mePoached eggs on toast with spinach in-between.

I usually have 2 hard boiled eggs and a Greek yogurt (different flavors) every morning for breakfast. When I can't have yogurt, a slice or two of different cheeses. :-)

Great poll, @Jerry! :-)

I don’t have breakfast due to Intermittent Fasting (IF) and a low carb no sugar healthy eating plan.

My work day breakfasts are either porridge with whole milk, nut butter and berries, or overnight oats with Greek yoghurt and berries. I can’t eat breakfast first thing so it’s the yoghurt one if I have to take it with me. Some days I’m working from home so I can microwave the porridge. On a day off it’s usually half a grapefruit followed by egg on Wholemeal toast and a large coffee.

Sometimes we eat baked beans, fried eggs ( on tiny sunflower oil) , toast ( brown bread) and mushrooms . This will bring the whole family together on Saturday.

Plain porrige for me and then a pickled beetroot with a couple of rashers of bacon or an avocado. The vinegar on the beetroot is great against acid reflux and nitrates in the beetroot great for the blood circulation and muscles.

Mackerel, horseradish sauce and oatcakes daily, with a fruit smoothie and green tea, every weekday. At weekend we treat ourselves to eggs!

I put pinhead oatmeal in a little slow cooker and it makes perfect porridge

I love porridge best but it has to be with all the bells and whistles with cinnamon and maybe a few raisins or some fresh fruit, a little maple syrup and a splash of fresh cream.

Porridge, but 3 varieties! Either GF oats or buckwheat flakes or quinoa flakes and 2nd favourite if mushroom and spinach frittata.

Usually a mixture of fresh and dried fruit with Quark and rosehip syrup. If I have a busy day planned, I like porridge made with water and Quark with added fruit. An absolute treat and usually on holiday is croissants with grilled bacon. Alice x

Hi Jerry, thank you for this poll. Another part of my b/fast is toast covered over by half a mashed avocado with a poached egg on the top. Makes for a good change to cereal on the morning.

I often have home made banana bread with blueberry spread

I would love a hotel breakfast choice every morning, but seeing as that doesn't happen, my breakfast staple is 2 slices of ancient grains toast (courtesy of Aldi's), margarine on one slice and thin sliver of strawberry jam, also courtesy of Aldi's.

Normally full fat Greek yoghurt and fruit but I do love a croissant or toast when I’m away.

I love all the above but mainly have Weetos with prunes or raisins! I'd do anything for eggs, bacon, pork sausages, mushrooms, tomato and toast. A proper fried breakfast in South Africa, but regret the food here in Belfast doesn't taste the same!

I voted toast and other as I love a toasted bagel for breakfast. Any toasted bread makes me happy 😊At the moment I have a wholemeal loaf from the baker and a pack of 🗽sesame bagels both on the go, as I like to vary my breakfast. 😋

A mixture of steel cut oats, buckwheat groats and apple chunks. All cooked in the instant pot.

Since we're in the colder months usually oats of some sort: half a cup of porridge, 2 oatibix, 30g of some other oat based cereal with a smal banana or a small oat protein bar. Sometimes a slice of toast with peanut butter, occasionally a small yogurt a with a couple of spoonfuls of low sugar granola sprinkled on it . I generally just eat the minimum required so I can take my NSAIDS safely without damaging my stomach. If it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't eat breakfast at all as I'm rarely hungry first thing in the morning. Lately it's been a Graze cocoa vanilla protein bite and cup of coffee or just a small banana. A big breakfast for me is about 300 calories but it's usually nearer 200.

I like chopped up fried mixed veg, ie courgette, mushrooms, peppers, spring onions, tomatoes, spinach, etc with a splash of coconut aminos added, served with bacon & scrambled or fried egg. If you think it sounds weird for breakfast, don't knock it till you've tried it! 😁

Green tea then coffee first thing. I have a brunch really at home unless I'm travelling. Prefer savoury to sweet. Smoked salmon every day - I wish. Usually meat with left over veg, or cherry toms, spring onion, or wilted spinach. My rare indulgence if can't have smoked salmon is 2 fried eggs, 2 rashers meaty bacon & 2 sausages. Now, I'm starving.

I sometimes consider something other than porridge, but then have porridge. With some spice and berry mix. Love it

Eggs for me either a Paleo breakfast bowl ( kale, 2 eggs, mushrooms, avocado and 2 sausage's that are 99% pork) or avocado and egg on homemade toast with a cup of hot chocolate made from 85% dark chocolate

If I'm treating myself then it's Nutella waffles with more chocolate and Nutella but that's like twice a year Christmas Eve and my birthday
