I drink a lavender based bedtime drink too- and turmeric based ones.
Other is NONE! Can't beat a good English Breakfast Tea
I love English breakfast tea so it has to be my favourite too, π
I also drink turmeric, fennel, lime flower, Lipton's Andalucia blend.
Lemonbalm, sage, linden, nettle
What about green tea.?
None, tried green tea, made me nauseous.
But not all herbal teas taste like green tea.
Ginger tea on itβs own is nice and echinacea tea on itβs own is nice but together they taste really nice.
Thanks Matt, but if it doesnβt involve milk and Stevia and have Tetley on the box I will have to pass, it all looks like urine specimens to me. ... not tempted, Iβm a total pleb, apologies. Dee
Other is chia tea and green tea
Chia tea!
You mean chai donβt you?
I like chai tea and chai lattΓ©s :).
Yes I should think so - those chia teas get stuck between your teeth and swell up like frogspawn
None donβt like them, Barryβs tea for me.
I also drink cinnamon tea, stomach ease tea, digestive tea & lemon and ginger with manuka honey
Almost everyday I drink a combo of echinacea and ginger.
Pukka is my favourite brand for herbal teas.
According to a chinese therapist my brother knows, a ginger/echinacea combo is really good for boosting the immune system and fighting sickness.
My βotherβ is mullein leaf tea.
Mullein is brilliant and is very very good for clearing the airways when you are congested/bronchitis/chest infection.
My mum used to work with someone who had bronchitis once and this lady had been taking many trips to the doctor.
The doc prescribed her with this and that and nothing seemed to work.
She went into work one day and was talking to my mum about it and my mum gave her a few mullein teabags.
When this lady next saw my mum she said the mullein teabags were brilliant and really cleared her airways. She was struggling to breathe but not any more :).
Hi Matt, you're going to have to excuse my ignorance but what is mullein? I honestly feel a bit daft for asking but it sounds really interesting and right now in my household 3 out of the 4 hubby and sons I share my space with could do with a bucket load of anything to soothe their hacking coughs!!! Sick bay centralππ€( that's me crossing my fingers I don't land what they've all got!!)
Mullein is a plant and it is the mullein leaf that is best for is. Apparently the mullein flower is not so good for is.
But there is a website called buddha teas that sell mullein leaf infusion teabags but I believe they are out of stock at the moment. I think they are either hard to get gold of or it is a popular teabag with others?
I am awaiting an email from the company when they are back in stock because I wantβs to buy some :).
But Amazon sell various brands of mullein. You can get mullein loose leaf tea, not sure what this is like though.
Iβm not really a massive fan of loose-leaf teas.
Sorry to hear of your family though and hopefully the mullein does good for you all too :).
I drink camomile and ginger and lemon tea with honey. Always drink camomile after dinner, it's a great way to ease bloated tummies and perfect for digestion! <3 I also love a good cup of English tea too in the mornings!
I drink Hawthorne too
Green tea
I drink cup of turmeric tea every morning. I read that it can help to guard you against cancer.
Fresh ginger and fresh peppermint
I drink ginger tea occasionally, I find most of them a bit insipid, probably because I usually drink strong black coffee.
Liquorice and peppermint, but not good for people with high BP because of the liquorice.
Nettle tea for me, a plethora of heath benefits apparently, I donβt know if it does all it claims but it makes some of my ailments improve π
I also drink green tea, turmeric and lemon. Plus fruit tea.
Ginger Green Tea everyday
Other is a sleep blend, immune support blends and nettle
See no Earl Grey there Jerry. Thatβs all I drink, and not the Twinings one, I buy a loose Russian Earl Grey. No milk of course.
Hi Dickydon Earl grey is blended teas with oil of bergamot so it isn't just a herbal tea, Russian tea is good so enjoy, I love tea. π
Herbal teas smell wonderful, but apart from peppermint, the rest taste like a rusty nail π₯΄
ginger and honey but I make it myself
I'm afraid that other means none. Tea should be Yorkshire! And that from a London gal.
I'm currently drinking a hot cross bun infusion. Very nice too!
difficult please can we have a response ... none as i dont drink any tea
like previously i dont use any sweetner
please can we have a 'none' response i these polls otherwise it is not scientific at all
Hello Wulugu we only have 8 options so choose 7 and have other for exactly that. And the same goes for all of the above, the polls are a bit of fun thats all.
Jerry π
I love pukka teas, turmeric, after dinner and night time are particular favourites
I love pukka bedtime tea but drink Aldi peppermint in the day, itβs one of the few Iβve found with no surplus packaging, just teabags in a box
Green tea and Peppermint
Hi Jerry
A very good poll.
I've picked Ginger it's a 3 ginger tea I have), Peppermint (although not strictly peppermint it's buttermint) I have and the other one is a Stomach Ease tea which really does help if you want to settle a tummy but it's also lovely to drink even if your tummy is fine.
Alicia
Thanks Alicia and this is interesting your stomach ease it sounds nice, so thanks I'll look for some. π
It's a Yogi tea and I love it.ππ
None, I dislike all I have tried!
I enjoy drinking herbal tissanes, speciament a base of fruits hot or cold
I'm NOT really a 'Fan', of Herbal Tea, although Sometimes I Might drink a mint one. I, tend to drink Coffee more- though I do drink 'Normal' (black) tea, on occasion.
AndrewT
Fresh mint for me. Occasionally a liquorice-y or fennel one but otherwise it is more the smell and the warmth and I find half of it left.
Loose leaf lapsang souchong is my favourite.
The other voted for is Green Tea.
Mmmm, Drambuie and Scotch. π
My other is green jumper.. Only ever found it in one shop... Never on line.
What is in Green Jumper?
Its green juniper spell checkers...
None of the above. I only drink black tea. (Orange pekoe). I like it iced and also hot, decaffeinated most of the time.
Thanks for the poll. Other: any really, I tried so many different ones, could not list them all. Hardly any herbal brew I donβt like.
Worth adding that it is also nice to cook with tea (in place of water), for extra flavor.
Other is 'Immune' lemon and ginger! Or anything that is on offer π love herbal tea! π
Twinnings strawberry/melon and blueberry/raspberry. Thereβs no actual fruit in them but they taste good. Other than that just standard black tea, milk no sugar.
My day begins with a mug of (Fenugreek seeds + Ginger + Lemon Juice) tea!
Hot water with a slice of lemon and a slice of ginger is my tipple of choice... sometimes I add a teaspoonful of honey if I fancy something warm and sweet.
Xxx
Chai tea and Hibuscus tea, but, mainly hoT water.
Start the morning with decaf green tea and local honey.
the other tea i drink every day is Macha Green tea
Other is: a sleep blend containing valerian to help me relax before bed and a morning wakeup blend plus green tea, fruit and herb blends, Also fennel for flatulence occasionally. I just recently started using a Cpap machine for Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Syndrome (OSAS) so I'm sleeping better, staying more alert during the day and have a bit more energy so may soon be able to drop the first two to occasional use. I'm also caffeine free for coffee and tea except for 1 cup of coffee in the morning when I get up.
I like: Chamomile , Ginger , Peppermint , Vanilla/fruit flavored teas. They help when I don't feel good and if we have a special celebration.
Thank you for posting this great poll, Hidden . Fantastic job!
Twinnings ButterMint is my all time favourite Herbal Tea π΅
Also Dr Stuart's Valerian Plus
That sounds interesting. I add the turmeric and black pepper anywhere I can, in chilli, in curries, even beat it in with eggs for an orange coloured omelette!
Chamomile to help me relax, ginger for cleansing of my lungs, peppermint for digestion, green tea for wellbeing of my mind and soul.
We buy green jumper tea from a little shop in preston, Lancashire. Where I live... Its called the mystery tea house..
It has a delicate flavour, nothing like green tea, I supose its a bit like jasmine tea..
I've never been able to find it anywhere other than this particular shop, but have been drinking it for years.
I drink lemon tea ideal for calls and general use
Other is Nettle, 3 different types of night tea (one has lavender), spiced orange, lemon and ginger, 3 ginger (ginger, galangal and turmeric).
I drink fennel tea.
Other is Green Tea
