My fat finger said pancake but meant porridge.
That's okay! There are two things on the list that I like and I had to choose between both of them which was my number 1! I like waffles and also fruit with yogurt, so I picked the fruit and yogurt. I have 2 hard boiled eggs and a Greek yogurt every morning-- unless it's a special occation and then have waffles that are gluten free.
Cheese/ham/tomato omelette, great start to my LCHF day!
Sounds good, Freesia3 ! Do you have omelettes on vacations, too?
I enjoy shedded whole-wheat toast and poached tomatos
Full English
I am very devoted to porridge, but a full english or eggs in any form are a treat sometimes
Othee: just coffee!
Porridge
Eggs and bacon
Porridge is second choice!
I love my muesli which I make up myself and other than that avocado and marmite on toast and homemade baked beans on a lazy Sunday 🙂🌱
I have a whole little can of mandarin oranges every morning first thing. A good shot of potassium and vitamin C, no fat, less than 200 calories, delicious. Pull-top cans make it easy to have anywhere anytime, you don't even need a spoon, just slurp the little segments right out of the can. This is the perfect snack anytime.
I have a crusty roll dipped into soup for breakfast
I have yogurt and fruit for lunch
I must be having my meals upside down...lol
Some people have brunch, so it's okay how and when you have fruit and yogurt! I do mine for breakfast since it holds me longer in the morning hours.
Eggs and crumpets, Not always the crumpets counting carb's for Keto depend on meal plan for the day. I'm allowed far over the normal limit by doctors due to might they want weight gain. This weight acheived some. With excellent A1C results.
Eggs and crumpets, do you cook them separately or have you tried doing eggy crumpets by dipping them in the beaten egg and then frying?
Love prriage with a sprinkle cinnamon and a tsp honey
Muesli is usually mostly cereal, But the "Eat Naturally" gluten-free toasted Buckwheat Muesli, I think, contains no cereal (Buckwheat is, I believe a seed, not a grain).
Sometimes I add live full-fat yoghurt to it.
Banana with natural Peanut butter
Banana with peanut butter
With blueberries
Porridge with blueberries
Other would be bacon buttie
Eggs produced by my own chickens....so easy to poach, and delicious!
It has to be porridge, made with either soya or almond milk and with nuts, seeds, raisins and a chopped banana on top - yum. 😀
Monday to Friday porridge. Weekends either full English or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon....lovely!
1. Boiled green gram with roasted wheat Roti (Indian bread)
2.Idli with chatni (Idli is made from batter which is a mixture of black gram pulses and rice soaked overnight, crushed and fermented and then steamed, chatni is a coconut sauce type)
Perfect breakfast? Grapefruit juice, porridge, followed by fried egg, veggie bacon and rosti, followed by croissant and pain au raisin.
As that's not sustainable on a daily basis, I keep the croissant and pain au raising as my Sunday Sacrament, and rotate through the other two, plus toast or bagel with Marmite and some sort of sweet spread, or drop scones of various sorts (sometimes grated apple and sultana, sometimes with kale in and served with egg and veggie bacon) Or leftover Indian or Chinese.
I love breakfast! What I cannot do, unless I am having a substantial amount else to eat at the same meal, is have cereal of any sort and milk of any sort (I do not understand why porridge doesn't do this) It has the most peculiar effect on me.
I love my porridge, but since becoming LCHF convert, the oats part is now in a minority and the supplements have become a work of art - ground linseed, pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds, full fat creamy milk, a blob of coconut oil, a sprinkle of cinnamon and either blueberries or raspberries on top. In anticipation of impending hay fever season, I’m also trying out an added teaspoon of pollen, apparently the excess to hive requirement, gathered from the chubby knees of honey bees 🐝 in the Spanish sunshine.
I voted 'other' because I like one poached egg, bacon, mushrooms and 2 slices of bread all fried in fry light.
I cant do you polls
my other is boiled egg with asparagus spears . toast HAS TOO MANY CARBS FOR A PRE DIABETIC
I actually have boiled eggs, but had to put eggs on toast. Don't have the toast either.
I voted porridge I have this made with water but with yoghurt, blueberries and cinnamon. Otherwise I have overnight oats, seeds, yoghurt, blueberries with cinnamon mix - all depends on how much time I have.
Eggs on toast - preferably fried but haven't had one of these in years....not brave enough. When bought in cafes, restaurants etc I ask for scrambled and if I forget to mention NOT to put the toast with the egg, it all comes baby soggy - who taught them to cook the eggs like this?? x
What does LCHF mean please??
Low Carb High Fat, it's to keep carbs down for those who are pre-diabetic or have type 2 diabetes.
There see - education too! Many thanks for that reply Jerry xx
You're welcome Flossy1920. 😊
Although I picked 'Cereal/biscuits', I noticed the 'porridge' option.
I don't have porridge for breakfast per se. I have a bowl full of dry rolled oats mixed in with raisins and various seeds and oat milk.
Similar to porridge without the heat and I suppose you could say it is near to muesli.
Porridge with fruits,nuts & seeds.🥣
On a work day it's usually Greek yoghurt and berries because I can eat that at my computer or in the car (cool box). On days off I like to be a bit more creative. Current favourite is half a grapefruit, followed by two eggs scrambled with chopped tomatoes and peppers with chilli and a dollop of cream cheese.
Eggs, bacon & diced fried mushrooms, cherry tomatoes & green veg.
2 egg omelette without toast
Crumpet for me! Only 108 calories with a tiny amount of butter!
Organic porridge with almond milk or water and a spoonful of coconut oil, topped with lots of mixed berries and cinnamon.
Dear Jerry,
My second Choice, that I tend to only have on Holiday, is The Full English- though often without the beans. Interesting how Popular Porridge is, I wouldn't have expected that.
Once again a Good Poll Jerry. Kindest regards
AndrewT
Either a bowl of mixed fresh fruit by itself, or french toast with fresh fruit on top.
I like cereal with raisins and sweetener with a dollop of full fat plain yoghurt and 1% milk.
I usually bake something for my breakfasts, so this week will be sweet potato scone.
I'll probably switch to fruit in the summer, but I like a warm breakfast when it's cold outside.
I'm fond of smooth cashew nut butter on lightly toasted bread. But knowing its fattening, I limit it to an occasional breakfast.
I haven't tried Cashew nut butter yet, but I think I will do - now you've mentioned that you enjoy it. I do like nut butters, and Cashew nuts are delicious.

I try and limit the purchase of the little jars containing smooth unsalted cashew butter to once a month. I can taste the cashew butter now as I write this reply. Sometimes missing out putting it on toast & just have a teaspoonful instead, But none to be had in my pantry until April.
Not long to go till April though - so you'll be enjoying some again relatively soon.
This is true, but since replying, and after reading a book on blood types, as in eating to suit ones type, I think I'm going to have to limit my consumption further to Birthday & Special occasions. It's a facinating book, and I feel there might well be something in what the author says. Whether I can be strict enough with what I can or shouldn't eat is another matter at this stage.
Porridge with soya milk and fruit. It really depends on the time of year though, when it's warmer I favour yogurt with fruit and a sprinkling of granola. I also like Amy's kitchen gluten free breakfast burrito. While I eat it breakfast is not a big meal for me.
toast with nut paste
Porridge with almonds, prunes, pumpkin seeds, sultanas, blueberries, sprinkled with ground ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. I would have this for every meal if the Mrs would let me 🍴😊
Homemade muesli with oats, pumpkin seeds ,sunflower seeds, brazil nuts, almonds, a sprinkle of all bran and some ripe blueberries or Apple or banana. And milk!
Our breakfast is not listed. Sunday is the best day because we have more time. We have organic Oatmeal porridge made with water adding a little cold raw milk at the table, a large boiled egg with home-made wholemeal buttered toast, and lastly wholemeal buttered toast and marmalade. This is accompanied by a cup of café latte made with 50% raw milk and 50% coffee made with our espresso coffee machine using ground coffee.
This takes about 30 - 40 minutes to enjoy and will last us through to 1 o'clock when we have either some home-made soup or a light salad.
Spinach mushrooms cooked in butter and egg
Muesli with lots of fruit is great!
Egg and bacon
Toast and cooked gammon ham is my favourite
Ok,what is a full English breakfast? Thank you bre1
Hi bre1
A 'Full English Breakfast' is explained in the first part of this Wikipedia page:

Hi I have almond milk with Chia seeds with fruit and LSA
Hi Jerry, I clicked 'Other'. If you'd asked me a year ago I'd have to have chosen 'porridge'.
I know it says this is 'Single Choice poll' but my breakfasts are pretty random now and are often driven by what's in season or what's hanging around in the fridge, even when it's last night's leftovers.
