This is perfect! Great idea for a poll.
Thanks Leah and being Independence day there had to be ice cream floats...😊
Yesterday was 103 and watermelon saved my bacon, so to speak! Rain and lower temps today in this part of Texas. Happy 4th everybody!
Water.
Water with or without ice?
Filtered and out of the fridge, no ice.
We have a filter for water on our kitchen sink. I usually put the bottle that is used in the refrigerator for the next day when it's necessary. We don't have an ice maker.
You don't have a freezer even?
If the drink is to cold it will make your body raise its temperature anyway, best to just drink cooled water. ☺
We have a freezer, but the fridge never had a place to make ice. Hard to believe, I know.
You buy an ice tray and make ice cubes.
Either frozen yogurt or ice cold water.
Water. Just plain & simple cooled water. 😁
Water. With or without ice, cooled or not. Last night I drank water from a bottle that had been sitting in the car and it might have made a passable cup of tea.
However... gin (the real thing or the very good local alcohol free version) and good tonic with ice is mighty fine.
water.
I'm a watermelon girl!
Water
My 'other' is fruit e.g. cherries, strawberries, mango, frozen berries etc straight from fridge.
Regular filtered water, staying indoors and time out for an ice cream, yogurt or Formage Frais. If I am out doors taking my time getting from point A to point B! I'm more a winter bird!
Less clothes. A lot less. 34'C today, which I hear is about the same as the UK.
One of the advantages of working from home
Oh, and water.
I prefere chilled tap water that I cool in a glass litre bottle in my fridge.
Just good old water.
Water, prefer bottled, or if tap water with a splash of fruit juice to cover the chlorine-y taste West Midlands tap water tastes a bit like a swimming pool
Water for me and love it filtered and chilled.
Water, from the tap. Cheap and cheerful xx
water
Just water, cold, seems best. Or, if at a pub, lemonade and lime with a slice of lemon or lime and ice...that is quite refreshing.
I'm not that keen on icecream..prefer it when it has practically melted, so then it's not particularly refreshing anyhow.
Diet Tonic Water. No Gin Honest, with a hint of lemon.
Several years ago my Dr. told me if Ieave my tap water uncovered for 1 hour all the chlorine will evaporate. Been having it that way ever since!
Watermelon. cool and refreshing. Plus my usual 2 to 3 pints of water.
Just plain water. Or cold pineapple juice.
Water. Water with a splash of lime juice. Water with lemon or lime slices. Water with fruit and ice cubes. I also love a cup of tea.
Iced water.
Water - filtered and cold straight from the fridge. Talking of which, I'm going to enjoy a cooling glass of water now.

Cold Water
A nice long glass of cool sparkling water. Here we can get Pellegrino which is good because it has all the salts that you can lose when sweating. If you drink tap water it is wise to put a good pinch of salt in a half litre as a loss of sodium can be quite dangerous and produces symptoms not always recognised even by doctors.
Although our house is well insulated and with double glazing we also close the shutters against the sun. At 14.00 today it was 31°C which is 88°F.
