What a short list!

I'm vegetarian & rarely eat anything unhealthy.

Nuts, seeds, squash, grapefruits, pomegranates, quinoa, kefir...

What is kefir really? Dairy?

I will have to send you the link later.

ok

Fermented dairy. There's also water kefir, but the nutritional & probiotic value is considerably lower.

yes I agree - and what a strange list single foods and then a soup!

not sure what the results will show ...?

I vote lentil soup. Then berries like raspberry though that was not there. Strawberries I don't like as much.

It's okay to like a certain type of food and not another.

How do you make kale pesto niretro ? I like the sound of it.

See link below - I use Grano Padano cheese instead of Parmesan (Parmesan is not vegetarian). You can also use toasted pine nuts instead of the toasted walnuts if you prefer :-)

I have always loved pineapples. I recently learnt that they don't carry a lot of calories! They now rank above bananas 😂. I just love the combination of Kale and beans.

Sounds great! I can't have bananas because of too much potassium. Miss them!

Vegetarian here, so they're pretty much always on my list - apart from lentils which don't agree with my IBS!

I agree are great and I like all of them. My problem is I prefer ice cream ginger biscuits and lemon drizzle cake

I will be happy to send you a message by pm. Look for it in a little while. Will let you know when I send it. How are you feeling today?

Hi Janice,

Try cutting out all processed foods, especially those with artificial sweeteners, as they mess up digestion & metabolism. Eating a grapefruit with as much of the white pith as you can manage, improves the digestion of fats. Try to include a good probiotic like kefir, which will give you more nutrients, protein, & improve your digestion. chriskresser.com/kefir-the-...

Everyone's metabolism is different, so you need to work out what's best for you, though low fat diets that people try don't work long term. Have a look at Chris Kresser's website for good articles & free e-books. I don't follow a paleo diet, but what he writes makes sense.

I have a clean food diet, eat a lot of fruit & vegetables, & a lot of good fats as I eat 100g of nuts & seeds a day, along with full fat dairy. I'm not too good at burning starches as injuries have made me inactive.

HI I AM SORRY I HAVE NOT BEEN IN TOUCH AS I WAS ON HOLIDAY'S YOU REPLYIF I COULD USE MY ARM'S WHICH I CAN AT THE MOMENT AS I MAKE MY OWN GREETING CARD'S I WOULD AGREE TO GIVING IT A TRY THANK.YOU SO MUCH JANICE.

My all time favorite healthy food is avocado. Others on the list are: all beans, berries, 85% dark choc (I like green&blacks for sweetness but there are plenty of brands I haven't tried), salmon, tropical fruit and smoked almonds. Lentils I'm still learning to love.. kale I have a very turbulent on off relationship.. mainly not into it.
