I don't need to do cos I have been eating healthily for the last 16 years and have maintained the same weight/size for over 10 years. It's business as usual in the New Year, I will as usual be looking for new ways to be even more healthier.

I would like to know if I can drink a diet rootbeer with or within 1 hr of taking my liothyronine or my levothyroxine. I am 68 and eat a healthy diet and rarely diet rootbeer.

no, but I have already booked a week at Cycle training camp in March and will be cycling to the South of France in April. I've moved my thinking and behaviour on so much these would have been major resolutions but they're now just stuff I expect to do! Big Changes come from 12 weeks!

I need to start feeding myself with nutritious food in 2016. I will be 65 in September so it's time I got round to looking after me.

The greatest difficulty in keeping your resolutions may be due to lack of proper planning. Today the whole day is to be used to set up a menu plan for the week plus organising swimming sessions. Total life changing decisions.

My doctor wants to change my T2D medication due to issues taking Metformin. She says Met' does not cause one to gain weight and the alternatives probably will. Seriously looking into LCHF although she thinks it is not a sustainable way of eating long term.. Having real issues with weight gain. 79kg now - should be 65.

New Year will give me a 'new broom' effect and a positive attitude.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! and take the opportunity to give you the wherewithal to suceed! :)

I try to avoid new years resolutions - I hate the idea of falling off in March, then just writing off the rest of the year. We don't need a new year to make a change.

I've given up smoking recently - my last cigarette was almost 3 months ago.

Now, I am desperate to lose weight.

I need to lose about 5 stone but I would be happy if I could just lose 2. Started exercising today but it was so hard! I don't know if I have enough willpower or motivation.
