Are you aware of how much added sugar you consume? in processed foods or table sugar
healthyeating1178 VotersI can't believe that about 30% of poll hardly ever eat bread, of biscuits or cereal etc. !
I ticked that section because I have just made a conscious decision to stop eating them (and have been carrying it out- not just thinking it). It is really difficult to start with and I don't know whether I'll do this for a few weeks or long term. Bread was a shocker as I had planned on living off bread whilst cutting out added sugar until I read about it properly. However, I suspect you are right and a lot of people mean they don't drink Vimto or eat custard creams.
I bake my own bread so can limit the sugar to 1 tbl of honey for two loaves. carbohydrate is an essential part of our diet and if bread is removed it is very important to eat much more whole grains such as rice and oats and also whole grain pasta.

I hope you don't mind me asking but what do you mean 'the principles of LCHF'?
Thank you, I will have to check the website out
I only have one main meal in the evening and it is generally the same "Casserole" with different meat in.One thing I have noticed is the amount of salt contained in food, especially frozen roast potatoes and gravy that you Just add water too.Our food nowadays is loaded with tasty morsels to please our pleasure senses.I find myself reading more and sweetness is also a target. There is a saying "you are what you eat"
You can never be sure.
