It feels like spring is in the air, a nuthatch feeding in the forest with a friend...🌲

Hi everyone,

Well its a beautiful day here toady now the rains gone and is it mild compared to yesterday. This afternoon I saw a nuthatch and blue tit feeding in the forest together and managed to photograph them. I have never seen so many nuthatches in the same area before and find them quite shy and not easy to photograph but the wild bird food seemed to tempt them...😊

Thank you Ali, and oh dear poor you with the rain, I saw the weather forecast and they said it was going to linger in the East, we don't want you getting wet now.

It's no wonder we're obsessed with the weather here in the UK as it snowed Saturday rained Sunday night and now its sunny but I'm not complaining 😊 it'll clear up where you are soon. ☔️ 🐕

They do seem shy - I don't think he would appreciate a peck on the cheek

Thanks Debs, there were 3 feeding together and this cocker spaniel spotted me and came rushing towards me and they were gone...I love how they run up tree trunks too...😊
