Hi, This morning I went for a walk through the Eastwell Estate which is near where I live. It’s a beautiful place with a hotel, very old church and a lake which is an ideal destination to head for when out walking.
There are usually a lot of Canada Geese around the lake but today they were in one of the fields rather than on the lake. I wondered if it was because the lake was a little frozen but that doesn’t explain why Jerry had a photo yesterday of ducks on a frozen pond who looked like they were auditioning for dancing on ice!
It’s a beautiful, sunny, frosty morning and I really enjoyed the walk which was peaceful and relaxing.

What beautiful weather you have there today Ali and I can imagine what a lovely walk it would have been. Unfortunately it's freezing cold here and raining at the moment so not nice at all.
Ew that’s not good! Im hoping we get snow later. I’ll be very disappointed if it turns to rain before it gets here. I’ve had two lovely walks today so we have been lucky with the weather. Keep warm 🔥🙂
I hope you do as well, it hasn't turned to snow here. Fortunately the forecast for tomorrow is better. It's lively sat by a heater though😀
Hi Ali, what lovely photo's of your walk I love all of it and that includes the lovely Lola who looks like she's enjoying the attention and exercise. I can see the frost in the church yard and it is a heavy frost.
It was sunny here this morning then clouded over and its been snowing ⛄️ but I don't think it will come to much just a light dusting so far.
And be careful what you wish for Ali...❄️❄️☃️❄️❄️ LOL
A dusting! Oh, well that’s not what they had forecast, I thought there was meant to be heavy snow for you today and us tonight. (I should know I’ve been checking it every two minutes lol).
I’m glad you like my pictures. It was an hours fast walking and when I got home I felt like I wanted to go again.
Hehe I’m sooo excited waiting for the snow ⛄️ I said to Phil we might have to get up in the night and go for a walk as it’s going to rain in the morning. I will say at this point he didn’t seem to share my excitement 🤔 lol
I think that’s so good that you walked for an hour and wanted to get out there again, it shows how healthy walking can make you feel.
I was disappointed as I’ve been looking forward to some snow too. And going out in the middle of the night sounds fun to me, I expect Lola would be up for it so Phil is outnumbered...just change his alarm...😂
Lol what an idea! Sooo if it snowed, I set Phil’s alarm for 3 o’clock in the morning, we went out for a walk, built a snowman, took a photo, posted it on here.....would that then mean I had my ducks in a row? 🤣
Ah, I think your snows coming Jerry so don’t get too disappointed just yet ☃️ ❄️
Thank you! 😁 That’s a funny saying isn’t it. I love sayings and where they originate. The question is do we ever really get all of our ducks in a row 🙂
Have you still got snow where you are? When it snows here I’ll be looking out of the window imagining I’m in a log cabin unlike you who doesn’t have to imagine.
I hope the weekend does warm up for you (and ribbie)🐕
My best friend is always saying, "Still trying to get my ducks in a row." We are both 70 & now realize it's Mission lmpossible but it is a challenge to keep trying!
We had a dusting of snow today. Very pretty but not deep... Yeah!
My hubby's father had an old saying... if you said, "Well..." He would say, "Tend to the sick & leave the well alone." He was a joker like my hubby. 'The apple didn't fall from the tree...' Granni B
