And the sky went dark...πŸŒ“

Hi everyone,

One thing I really like is a nice sunset and there were clouds at different heights and travelling in different directions which I always think is ominous, the lower clouds have started to go purple when the upper ones are a lovely pink and I like that. I took this photo in my back garden whilst watching the sunset over the forest. Moments like this are fleeting and its so easy to miss them and within minutes it was all over...another reason to get outside and have some exercise and fresh air and see what you can see... 😊

What an amazing photo. I love the sunset best. (Sunrises are a bit too early lol). We have amazing sunsets but I can’t see them from where I live unfortunately. I love the pink and purple colours with the black tree in the fore front. I think that’s a pretty good photo Jerry, thanks for sharing it.

I love clouds! During storms l take my hot tea & blanket & sit on the porch swing to watch the show. I find it calming & oh so powerful. Mother Nature is my kind of girl. Granni B

A Labrador, a log house and a porch swing to watch the storm. You have the perfect set up Granni B. 😁

Thank you Ali. I have been so very blessed to live here & serve this land for 38 years. Unfortunately, l have recently come to the realization that it is time to seriously consider downsizing. So l have started taking pictures of the trees, pasture, pond, & the beautiful puffy clouds for a special scrapbook to take with me. I am thinking about giving myself the gift of one or two more years here before l sell.

This site has been uplifting my spirits. I love all of the photos & the little discriptions you girls share with me. Granni B

A scrapbook is a lovely idea and with technology today it is easier than ever. I love it that you’re taking pictures of the trees, pasture, pond etc they are things that make us happy that you can’t put a price on and I think that’s what it’s all about.

Wow, I love that purple sky - that is my favourite colour, and amazing that you captured such a lovely purple and pink scene - I also like the contrasting silhouette of the tree branches and the spiky hedge fronds. Lovely!
