Tics and TBI?

Hello, my friends, Has anyone else deal with Head shoulder and neck twitches, also called tics? After a TBI

Hi stillsmilinglarry,

I didn’t have “tics” per se but I did suffer with dystonia for around 18 months following my traumatic brain injury. I still have ataxia and experience subtle tremors and “intention tremor”.

Is it something you have spoken to a medical professional about?

Thank you for your reply. I have been having to deal with this also since my TBI and saw a person on YouTube just yesterday talking about her tics though hers we're from birth and though mine is not facial I saw her head and neck jerking different directions and said I deal with that, you have given me better words to explain to my doctor so thank you very much

It is difficult to know where to start when there is specific medical terms, or names for things isn't it?
