I’ve been in bed since Monday , so dizzy and every time I move I’m sick . Is this normal —six months from having a second stent placed ?

Might not be to do with the stent at all, you could have vertigo. You need to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis

Thank you , I’m waiting for my appointment for the scan at six months which should be in the next week or so . Hopefully that will put my mind at rest . Too many side effects from the coiling in June . Huge aneurysm.

Believe it or not things get better 2 aneurysm bleeds both coiled I was very not well but the dizzy and sicky does pass 3 years ago mine first 9 month was tough you get better be strong

Thank you . I’m very impatient but I’m 65 and don’t want to live feeling so horrible . Three years sounds a long time to me . I’ll just have to get used to it .I hope you continue to stay well 🙏

Can you call your GP out Shona ? This doesn't sound like a 'normal' after effect. At least call I11 for advice but I'm pretty sure they'll tell you to get checked by either your GP or possibly paramedics. xx

Thanks Cat . I’m waiting for this appointment at the hospital which should be soon. It gets me down so much but the GP would send me to our local hospital as they haven’t a clue about aneurysms. This means I would be bed blocking until I got a bed at the hospital who deal with these beasts . I’m better just staying in my own bed than bed blocking . The neurologists at the hospital are still trying to find out what they will do with me if there is no improvement when I do go back . A very rare aneurysm by size, placement etc. I still have all the stroke symptoms and a frozen face but fingers crossed the beast isn’t growing or leaking . Sooo frustrating.

Five days is a long time to be so poorly ; at least the hospital can check that nothing untoward is happening with basic tests & scans...….. x

Being attacked in 1985, causing my 1st BI, the cochlear of my ear was shattered. This was the start of my balance problems. At first I couldn't walk at all. I was assured the other ear would come into take over and work for them both, which is what happened. However, now I'm reaching 65years I'm starting to get wobbly unable to turn without nearly falling over, or standing up. Bloody horrible, as if I've not got enough problems. I've even heard some whispers of "Oh he's drunk again ". Anyway, hope you get over it soon . Take care. Dave.
