Radio 5 Afternoon Edition Strokes and TBI

It started at 1pm and can be found on iplayer, with input from Different Strokes. I'm finding it pretty annoying, lot of love for NHS and heart warming recovery stories so far.

I cant watch or listen to a lot of these kinds of programmes, what happened to telling it like it is!

I now have a lifelong chronic illness that i am aware of every single day, yes i have good days but not days where i am as i was before. And the hard work its taken to get this far! I’m told i am inspirational but i just see that i have done what is necessary to gain a semblance of my life back, and ill keep on doing it because im stubborn, i want it as near perfect as i can get it before my age catches up with me!!!!

And dont get me started on celebrities recounting how they’ve overcome their health problems!!!!!!

I suppose I m just a grumpy okd woman these days.

It was normal people who'd had a great service and been fortunate, I'm a big fan of the NHS but not when it's falling apart, a balanced report is all I ask for.

I cant say i had a bad experience i was very fortunate it all fell right.

Im sad its all falling apart at the monent, i just hope it will survive.
