I've said it a hundred times (or maybe half a dozen) but people would pay you for drawing their pets from photos ; and what pleasure it would give..............

You have said it quite a few times already and you are right, people would pay me for drawings and they have as well :).

I just sold Barney the cockerspaniel for £25 :).

Well done mate ! There's something so much more appealing in a drawing that a photograph doesn't quite capture. A good artist (like yourself) knows how to accentuate a subject's best features and to really capture a mood or expression, so the drawing ends up looking more lifelike than the original photo ! xx

Thanks for your kind words car :).

I have just drawn the outline of the aarvark at the moment.

In hot weather like this, I don’t want or feel like drawing so much but yesterday there was a point that wasn’t so hot, quite comfortable so I got some done then :).

Usually the evenings is the best time for me to be drawing and also I am getting out and about a bit more now and meeting new people and I don’t have as much time as I did to be drawing. I still have the weekends which are my days of rest and I can catch up on some things then :).

If it takes months that'll be fine by me. One thing which really spoils the process of creating something is someone (metaphorically) standing beside you tapping their foot !

It should be something you go to when you're in the creative 'zone'. And, as you say, life has other demands.

I'm off to my friend's funeral in a couple of hours so not the best of days here.............
