Two years and counting.......

Hi guys.

It’s been two years since my ski accident and head injury yet still feel at a loss regarding my head. I can’t stand Pressure to the back of my head still including laying for long periods of time even on a pillow or wearing a hair band. Hasn’t anyone else experienced such a long delay in sensitivity and healing?

Also this Christmas I hit the back of my head on some wooden stairs as I sat against them. The part of my head I injured in my accident. Within 20 minutes I felt really weird and wobbly and weak; I went straight home. Within an hour I was Vomiting and had an aweful headache. Clearly I had given myself concussion. Is this part of my head now really weak and any knock could see me get concussion? I worry about hitting it again.

Would love to hear your advice on these things.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post xx

To the best of my knowledge the skull heals remarkably quickly and would be as strong as it was within a short period of time.

The brain it’s self less so, if ever.

This said it’s also possible to be anxiety when I have my hair cut, there is often teens there who would like to try out head massage etc, which I always politely refuse, I know logically that small teenagers can’t possibly harm my skull but I’m uncomfortable with it.
