Is it possible calcium& vit d supplement could be increasing acid and bowel troubles etc.,

Some of these supplements contain high quantities of sorbitol or other similar sweeteners which could be causing you difficulties. If this is a prescription supplement then you could ask your doc to prescribe something without these sweeteners; otherwise you could ask the pharmacist if they can direct you to a product which doesn't have high levels of these.
Thanks Irene, Sorbitol, glucose , maltodextrine noted. Think calcium is above normal at last reading so rekon not required now. Doctor keen on anti ds for bowel probs (lol) . From what read most doctors think bowel probs all in the mind mainly. May need vit d3..
