Hi everyone. I’ve been having ear issues on and off, like pressure, sometimes ringing. I’ve been on gf diet for 6 months right now. Does anyone have this issues and how long did it take to resolve? Also I think I got glutened from Turkish coffee, not feeling well, fatigue, blurred vision and stomach cramps. Should I drink water to clear it out?
Thank you

I have sinus problems which causes pressure and ringing in my ears 😪 apparently to much dairy can cause to much mucus which can then lead to sinus infections, so I'm currently trying to cut down on it!
I have tinnitus as well, and I haven't found anything that has resolved it. I tend to use a White Noise app on my phone/iPad, to help drown it out when it gets too much. Sometimes this can help you go to sleep. A doctor told me (after having all kinds of tests) not to drink caffeine as that can help, I have been off caffeine a few years now (and boy was that hard, the withdrawal symptoms were horrendous and lasted for around 10 days), yet I still have the problem. I had a brain scan because I was only getting it in one ear, which the consultant thought was unusual. It now alternates between which ear it's in, because since just before the pandemic I had an ear and throat infection that required antibiotics which ended up with me getting fluid behind my ear, which I was told could go, but might take a few months. I still have that fluid, and nothing I've done can help. So that's why I get it in both ears now.
If you have been glutened, nothing really gets rid of it except time, but water will flush out the toxins from your body, and hopefully help you heal quicker. Hope you feel better soon.
Make sure your gluten free diet is plentiful in healthy fats to support nerve health. Coeliacs need more healthy fat as likely may have been deficient before diagnosis as a damaged gut won’t have been able to absorb fat properly.
