3 rd post op check

I went for my check up and the bleb was not draining properly and my pressure had gone back up to 15 . The consultant had to apply pressure and it went down to 8. The consultant was going to release a stitch but they do not want the bleb to over drain as my left eye is the only eye that works. He said he will look at releasing another stitch next week. I’m hoping that I don’t feel like rubbish after that .

I’m in exactly the same position. I have my third post-operative consultation tomorrow. I have already had two stitches removed as the pressure was still 20. I’m hoping the bleb is now draining properly.

The problem I have is that after the first stitch was taken out at the first post op check up I felt terrible for a couple of days. I’m worried that I’m going to feel unwell. How did you feel after the second stitch was taken out

In what way did you feel terrible?. My consultant has just removed my third stitch after 4weeks and brought the pressure down to 10. He says that I’m now through the ‘worst part’. Are you overthinking ? Trust your body to do its job. You will be fine.
