licence provoked too quick

hi, I don't have any eye disease but 4 weeks I had a car accident lucky no1 was hurt apart from my car the police dud their normal checks then asked if I wore glasses for driving which I explained and been told by specsavers just fir tv and driving if eyes are tired.

the police did my numberplate test outside my house the day after the accident,wouldn't allow me to wear my glasses as wasent with me in the car ,I failed so they said they need to inform dbla,the issue being they knew I had my 2 year eye test the day after they did their check,soecsavers advised me no need for new glasses as my prescription hin eyes hasent changed and was good fir driving just keep glasses in car,on the Monday dvla provoked my licence but had all clear inbetween with specsavers ,I sent copy report to dbla they had iit On their system within 4days I also sent my new D1 with another eye test report can I do I complaint at all to hurry up my application I had the letter to say they recieved my application the thing is I need my car for work,I have mobility issues with arthritis,and a daughter who's 13 with autisand mental health.

Hello. You could try contacting the DVLA to ask if your application can be processed as quickly as possible, explaining the reasons for your request. I am sure they will do it as quickly as they possibly can anyway.

Hi Helen

Yes I did that Friday and explained I need it for work all they said is that they will try and get the application pushed through quicker,nightmare.
