I'm completely overwhelmed with my sons diagnosis (13 years old) and am struggling with how to explain it to him whilst taking in to account his autism (he also suffers from anxiety and depression) so any advice on how to do this would be very welcome. He has been having the eye drops to reduce the pressure for 5 months .Many thanks,

Hello. This must be such a worrying time for you and your family.
I can see you are based in Germany and we can only advise on charities that are based in the UK. I have attached contact details for a few as they still may be able to help and advise you. They may even know of an organisation in Germany. I haven't been able to find one for you, but it worth you contacting the ones I have listed as you may find them helpful.
guidedogs.org.uk. Please dont let the title put you off. They help families with children who have visual impairments and not just sightloss.
