how long do we have to wait for the results after taking a DVLA test at Specsavers please?

In my experience it can vary greatly. I've been doing these tests for more than 10 years, firstly every three years but then annually. Between covid restrictions and DVLA work to rule I found at best it is 3 - 4 weeks but sometimes longer.

Hi - I am not sure if there is an average waiting time and presumably DVLA work load will determine how long the wait is. in my case, I did the test on 27 March 2023 and on 15 April 2023 I received the "dreaded brown envelope" from the DVLA. Their letter was dated 6 April 2023 so I am not sure why it took so long for the letter to be delivered. I hope you get your result soon and you get to carry on driving.

I’ve now had three sets of tests as I was recalled twice. Each time the reply came within about a week.
