Hello Claire. I'm Claire too, Nice to meet you. Hope you are doing okay? I have angle closure glaucoma and finally had surgery 5 weeks ago on worst eye. All healed well but not sure yet if its brought pressure down enough and struggling to find drops I don't have an allergy to. So keeping my fingers crossed. But also determined to keep positive.

I had surgery (trabeculectomy 5 months ago and a stent 16 months ago ).

Which type of glaucoma surgery did you have ?

It takes a lot of patience with all those drops after surgery doesn't it. But it's worth it.

Hi i had trab surgery a month ago and am finding it really hard i have floaters in my right eye which are awful . Very poor relationship with my eye dr. He never explains anything which gives me more anxiety x

alas i think that is quite common not to be given explanations. would it help to write down your questions beforehand so that you remember what you want to know? Or ask them to identify someone that would be able to explain your results to you, assuming that they are too busy themselves?

He just can't be bothered i tried asking about laser last week and there was no replyits a waste of time x
