Thank you Floki ,the celebrations began yesterday but my actual birthday isn't until Halloween 🎃. My mum always told me I fell off the back of a witch's broomstick and landed on their doorstep 😂. Today my son is coming home and we are having a pre birthday lunch, tomorrow is an afternoon tea,the celebrations go on until next Friday 🎉🎂🎁. It's quite handy having friends who don't like each other so I have to celebrate with each of them separately ☺️ x

Thank you Wales it's been great so far but I have eaten way too much rubbish. I have so many cakes,cookies and even an iced gingerbread that have been made for me plus that generic M&S birthday cake I love so much . I can recommend being 60 🤣. Off to the Lakes tomorrow for a few days although possibly not the best time to be going there with all the flooding 😱 x

That’s what birthdays are for! Wish I lived nearer I would come round & help you eat it all 😂. I’m hoping to retire when I’m 60 but that won’t happen if I don’t stop buying clothes! I buy far too many & then never go anywhere to wear them 🙄. Have a lovely time away. The Lakes are beautiful. 😊.

You would have been more than welcome to come and pig out on cake 🎂🐷🐽🐖. I buy way too many clothes too and I wear them to walk Lu, I'm the best dressed dog walker in the village 😂. I definitely recommend retirement that's me been retired 7 years now and I love it . Thank you I will definitely have a lovely time, we usually go there at least once a year as it's one of our favourite places but it's two years since we were last there. Can't wait x

My partner says to me every morning he wishes he was retired 🤣. He will be 50 in March and the plan is he retires at 53 so only 3 years and counting. 😉. X

That’s so funny Witchie as when I was younger I’ve always had a birthday “season” over a few weeks too! 😂 All my best friends as a child had their birthdays around the next 3 weeks so there was a stream of Halloween and bonfire birthday parties . My birthday usually lands on Remembrance weekend - a sobering time to be trying to party - so quite useful to celebrate either side of that weekend. I don’t party so much these days but I do love this time of year of pumpkins, fireworks and first frosts. Enjoy the start of your birthday season celebrations Witchie!👏🏻🧙‍♀️🎃🎇🔥 🎉🍾

Thank you Becalmed I am thoroughly enjoying it so far. Halloween is definitely my time of year I love pumpkins and everything associated with this time of year. I've had all my decorations up for a few days now and it definitely makes me happy. A birthday " season " is an excellent idea 😃 x
