Yes, I had my trab 6 years ago so not to sure about exact pressure but can remember the dr I saw 4mths after op was concerned as pressure very low but it sorted itself out at next appointment and is now stable at around 8.

Thanks Nat 10. That is very reassuring, I was told at the last appointment that if the pressure doesn't rise to 8 soon my sight may be permanently blurred. In any case, they are planning to put in a stitch

May I ask what your pressures were before your Trab? I have very thin corneas with pressures from 10-15 and need very low pressures. Has your vision stabilized after the Trab? I have heard about dry eyes and blurriness after the surgery.

I have very thin corneas as well. Your pressures are much lower than mine, The operated eye was at 16 last week so one of the the stitches was removed.Apparantly I am a difficult

customer as my eyes are very deep set!

I am on dexamethasone 6 times a day and have been told to massage the eye after using. (

Cannot remember exactly but they used to be around 16/18. My vision in that eye has altered a lot but that could also be age, not able to read without glasses but don’t need glasses for driving. I wouldn’t say it is blurry but the dots on the field test do have a shadow under them, hope that makes sense, and is more sensitive to bright light but the positive is that I no longer need drops in that eye.

After my recent trab the consultant said the pressure was too low and I went back to theatre a week later to have the anterior chamber reinflated which was successful. Good luck with your treatment.

Thanks Eahldt. Good to hear that yours was a good outcome. My op was about 8 weeks ago and the pressures are still about 7 to 8.I should hear on Thursday if they are planning to do some stitching

He didn’t tell me what my pressure was before remedial treatment but afterwards and ever since it’s been 10-12. Let us know how you get on.

Thanks Eahldt. Hopefully mine won't have to be much higher then.I have been having appointments at the Eye Unit every Thursday so I will let you know how the next one goes.

Hello Eahldt,

Well my Thursday appointment didn't happen. Instead I was sent an appointment for yesterday to have the stitches put in. Straight afterwards the pressure had gone from 8 the week before to 12 so all good so far. I've another check on Monday
