Any one using/tried medicinal cannabis for their involuntary movements/spasms/pain etc?

Did it help?

hi Smich,

Yes and it has been one of the most effective and fast-acting solutions. I use it primarily for nausea and it’s been the only medication that helped there. I had tried three other prescriptions that didn’t help before finding cannabis.

For twitches, spasms, and pain I find it has the least side effects and fastest relief. I’ve seen the other side which is taking a prescription pain pill or muscle relaxer which can knock me out for eight hours or can have a hit of cannabis which I might be feeling high for an hour but then then medicinal effects can last hours longer.

I’ve found huge benefits all around for cannabis and would recommend before taking certain prescribed medications for long periods of time.

I live in the United States (California) where it’s legal and less stigma and see people find great use in helping stroke patients, cancer, etc.

Best of luck!

Thank you so much for your reply.

I refuse to take any prescribed pills due to previous nasty adverse effects, but keen to learn about more natural remedies.

I have just applied to a private clinic in the UK and been accepted for monthly prescriptions of cannabis, so now my journey begins.

I was concerned about the being high, but it's interesting to know the medicinal effects last longer than the high. If I can stop the pain & movements etc, I want to get out there and live, not be glued to my sofa.🤭

Do you know of any useful, honest sites where I can learn more about medicinal use? or where people share how & what they use?

It's great you have found something that works for you, I hope to have the same experience.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

Whatever method you ingest, start small the first couple times using it just so you dont overdo it. Edibles or tinctures as a method of ingestion will help to get the most accurate/consistent dose. I have always found workers at dispensaries to be very knowledgeable of what to suggest and how much to take.

Hi Smich

I’m so happy you have found medical cannabis as your treatment choice.

cancard.co.uk is a great site with links to patient forums and any legal support issues.

medbud.wiki/ has all the the cultivars of flower and oil available, it provides all of the terpenes and cannabinoid profiling for each product available for any U.K. patient.

Your clinic can order any of these for you 😃

That's great thank you, much appreciated. Still learning about it all, but much rather cannabis, than the toxic poison I have been prescribed in the past.
