Also, here is a link to a website that is tracking COVID-19 in real-time. Scroll down for by-country data and note the "Total Cases Per 1 Million Population". Several days ago that number was in the thirties for the US. At 1 PM today (03/21) it has doubled to 67. And while just a reflection of one aspect of a very "imperfect" data set, the current 12% death rate to recovered patients should sound the alarm for everyone who still thinks this is being overblown.
